Rock Paper

Last night I attended an on-line workshop through Rock Paper.Store. We made fall leaves from Rock Paper. It was a lot of fun! I don’t think they originally expected the workshop to be so popular with over 70 people joining in from all over the place.

What is Rock Paper you may ask? Well, it is waterproof, archival, eco-friendly paper made from, you guessed it, rocks! For more information about Rock Paper - what it is, how to get some, how people have used it - check out their website. 👉🏻 https://rockpaper.store/

They are also on Facebook and Instagram.

The workshop was hosted by Molly Grosse, Co-Owner RockPaper.Store and the instructor, Wendy Bale. Molly answered all kinds of questions about Rock Paper while Wendy demonstrated how to create the embossed leaves.

Once you signed up for the workshop, a kit with everything to make the leaves was mailed to you. The kit included 7 sheets of Rock Paper in varying colors, a piece of foam core and an embossing tool. An email was also sent out with the link to the workshop, an agenda and a workbook.

Here are the two leaves that I made. I hope to create more soon with the other papers in my workshop kit.

The on-line workshop was recorded and will be posted on Wendy’s YouTube channel as soon as it is ready. https://www.youtube.com/@WendyBale
