From the outside Tavern on the Bend is an unassuming place, located in a strip mall between a Subway & a Papa John's, but it is a great neighborhood hang out!
They are known for their signature Mac & Cheese recipes such as Goetta Mac, Lobster Mac and Voodoo Chicken Mac. Don’t forget to check out their Mac of the Month and other nightly specials.
The menu is what I would consider upscale bar food with selections like Candied Almond & Grape Salad, Pretzel sticks with Beer Cheese (really good) and The Westsider Burger, featuring ham, swiss, BBQ sauce, onion straws, lettuce & tomato.

There are over 20 specialty beers on tap including a lot of local beers, all posted on the chalkboard signs on the front wall. Other drink selections include soft drinks, wine selections and a full bar. Tavern on the Bend has loaded Bloody Mary’s on the weekends and a friend of ours recommends the Bomb Pop shot.
The black & white photos on the wall are intermixed with televisions tuned into the current sporting events especially if there is a La Salle Lancers or Cincinnati Bengals Football game happening. And in that case, the place will be packed. There is live acoustic music every Wednesday & Thursday. Tavern on the Bend is a great place to sit down and have a good meal with friends!
